Getting to Williamstown
The Ark Encounter public entrance sits just west of I-75 on KY-36 at exit 154. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) approaches from the north; Blue Grass Airport and Lexington approach from the south.
Fly through CVG or Lexington
CVG is north near the Creation Museum; Blue Grass Airport is south in Lexington. Both require a rental car or arranged ground transfer for Williamstown.
Transfer between attractions
The operator publishes 43 miles and about 43 minutes from the Creation Museum to the Ark under ordinary conditions, following I-275 and I-71/75 to I-75.
The Ark parking lot is only the first arrival step
At the parking booth, present a pass or pay the current fee. After parking, visitors pass through security and board a shuttle to the Welcome Center, where tickets are scanned. Personal vehicles cannot use the shuttle road or drop a family at the Ark itself. Allow time for that transfer during the first hour, especially with strollers, mobility equipment, or a large group.
